Hi, I'm Andy.

I love telling stories

I love meeting people and creating images that reflect who they are. I love taking family photos because kids make me laugh. I love taking wedding photos because I also happen to love dancing to Ke$ha.

By day, I work to promote public health at the company I started called Community Blueprint.

I am based in St. Paul, Minnesota but have photographed weddings and families around the country.

The main reason I love photography is the people I get to meet. I've photographed governors, vice presidents, celebrities, but love talking to aunt Gene from Hibbing just as much. I love connecting with people and documenting special times in their lives.


It's pretty rare that I don't have a camera in my hand, but outside of making pretty images I spend as much time as possible outside with my boys. Skiing, dirt biking, camping, and chasing our little dog Juniper. I have loved the MN State Fair since I was a kid and I have been lucky enough to be the MN State Fair photographer since 2018. I am there all 12 days and it's definitely the highlight of my year!

Why I take photos.
